One of the biggest fears when traveling abroad is arriving at the airport after packing everything, only to discover that something isn’t allowed onboard. With power bank regulations updated in 2026, it’s especially important to double-check the latest rules before packing.
This guide covers the complete travel packing list, carry-on liquid restrictions, power bank regulations, and a final pre-departure checklist. At the end, we included a downloadable travel packing checklist for your next trip.

Travel Liquid Restrictions: 100 mL Container Capacity
When departing from Taoyuan International Airport, liquids, gels, and aerosols in your carry-on must be stored in containers with a capacity of no more than 100 mL.
According to Taoyuan Airport regulations, these containers must be placed in a transparent plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 liter, with one bag allowed per passenger. At security, remove the resealable bag from your carry-on and present it separately for inspection.
Any liquid, gel, or aerosol in a container exceeding 100 mL should be placed in your checked bag.
